Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients - you're the detective of medical mysteries!
  • Interpret and integrate data like a pro to determine awesome diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Perform complete physical exams, recording your discoveries with precision.
  • Team up with providers to rock the management of both acute and long-term medical needs for patients.
  • Command the lab like a boss by ordering appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
  • Channel your inner data genius to determine diagnosis and create therapeutic plans emphasizing prevention.
  • Have heart-to-hearts with patients about health and illness prevention.
  • Flex your skills by administering medications, injections, and suturing minor lacerations.
  • Educate and empower patients with awesome medical insights.
  • Keep patient records spotless and up-to-date with meticulous care.
  • Be the magical messenger posting test and examination results.
  • Handle patient phone calls with grace, providing stellar triage and consultation.
  • Be ready to spring into action managing medical and surgical emergencies.
  • Ensure monitoring and continuity of care between visits to keep patients thriving.
  • Master ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS coding to navigate the world of managed care.
  • Contribute to Legacy's excellence by attending meetings and engaging in committees or pilot projects.
  • Keep your professional game strong by participating in development activities and maintaining affiliations.
  • Follow Legacy's guidelines and keep HIPAA confidentiality in high regard.
  • Convey your brilliant ideas through excellent oral and written communication.
  • Participate in the Performance Improvement Program, helping us reach new heights.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Hold a Medical Doctorate with current licensure in the state of Texas - your medical superpowers start here!
  • Stay in the loop by obtaining, maintaining, and participating in Medicare and Medicaid Programs, workers compensation, and other reimbursement programs.
  • Rock your expertise from previous experience in a hospital and/or clinic setting.
  • Bring your A-game with a minimum of three years experience preferred.
  • Show expertise in high-risk pregnancy and minimally invasive gynecological procedures - impress us with your skills!
  • Be a master of time management, handling multiple deadlines and prioritizing like a champ.
