Key Responsibilities

  • Dive into providing comprehensive pediatric care within our lively School-Based program, performing impactful procedures and treatments!
  • Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth sailing with policies and protocols—team spirit rockstar style!
  • Transform client care into stories by documenting everything promptly and accurately using electronic medical records!
  • Conduct telephonic consultations for triaging, advice, and referrals—you're the hotline hero!
  • Be on the call for on-call duties and refer complex cases to physicians when needed—you're the guru on duty!
  • Empower patients with advice on preventive health measures and healthcare plans—because knowledge rocks!
  • Raise the bar by contributing to Performance Improvement Programs and being part of key committees!
  • Keep those patient records shipshape and stick to safety protocols!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current licensure with the Texas Physician Assistant Board or Texas Board of Nursing—your golden pass to awesome healthcare deeds!
  • Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program—rock that degree!
  • At least one year of experience in a physician's office or similar setting—you're seasoned and good to go!
  • Navigate electronic medical records like a tech whiz!
  • Work independently with enthusiasm and zest—you're the go-getter we need!
  • Manage multiple deadlines without breaking a sweat—juggle pro-level!
  • Experience in a school-based clinic environment? Oh yes, please!
