Facilities Technician - Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver transformative facility service with a tech-driven approach to employees, providers, vendors, patients, and visitors.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to advanced dress guidelines reflective of our innovative clinic environment.
  • Ensure a clean and progressive work environment by following Legacy Community Health policies and procedures.
  • Execute maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment under the guidance of the Facilities Manager and Director.
  • Respond to and resolve work requests with a focus on quality and innovation in workmanship.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, responding to after-hours emergencies with agility and reliability.
  • Utilize reliable personal transportation to efficiently execute job duties, including operating moving vans and trucks.
  • Engage in additional duties as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of facility operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a passion for lifelong learning in tech-focused facility management.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in related fields, with a preference for certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or Building Trades.
  • Tech-savvy with computer literacy, driving innovation in maintenance operations.
  • Expertly manage multiple deadlines while navigating complex decision-making scenarios.
  • Physically adept, capable of frequently sitting, occasionally standing and walking, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Dynamic communication skills, both expressive and receptive, to enhance collaborative efforts.
  • Proficient in managing moderate concentration tasks with a focus on proactive problem-solving.
