Behavioral Health Consultant - Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen new clients in the primary care setting using advanced digital tools to identify critical behavioral health needs.
  • Implement immediate interventions and innovative referral services as needed.
  • Administer cutting-edge psychosocial assessments and crisis interventions.
  • Deliver brief, impactful interventions to clients across demographics, using motivational interviewing and digital health strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and counseling sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records and reports.
  • Coordinate with community agencies using agile methodologies for seamless service integration.
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking, client-centered treatment plans.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches for continuous client assessment and treatment plan adjustments.
  • Participate in monthly strategic meetings with clinical supervisors to enhance service quality.
  • Document all client interactions within a digital framework, adhering to agency timelines.
  • Stay at the forefront of behavioral health innovations and research developments.
  • Engage in voluntary family planning services in compliance with FQHC and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences from an accredited institution.
  • Current and full Texas license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) with active participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement programs.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in assessment, brief interventions, and psychotherapy.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and making tech-savvy decisions.
  • Proficient in leveraging digital tools for client engagement and service delivery.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative healthcare environment.
