Key Responsibilities

  • Accept and process patient referrals from various healthcare professionals.
  • Initiate comprehensive health assessments to guide patient care.
  • Gather and analyze patient health histories through detailed interviews.
  • Conduct and interpret physical examinations to develop personalized health plans.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and specialists to provide holistic care.
  • Order and execute diagnostic tests and procedures effectively.
  • Educate patients about health conditions and preventive strategies.
  • Advocate for patient rights, ensuring compassionate care delivery.
  • Develop and implement primary clinical treatments for individuals and groups.
  • Contribute to shaping healthcare objectives and improving service quality.
  • Engage in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
  • Stay updated on medical advancements and advise staff accordingly.
  • Embrace additional duties to support our dynamic healthcare environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current license from the Texas Board of Nursing or Texas Physician Assistant Board.
  • Active participation in Medicare and Medicaid Programs.
  • Compliance with payment plans of commercial insurers, HMOs, PPOs, and accountable health plans.
