Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures on 340B purchasing processes to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.
  • Develop systems and processes to mitigate program liabilities and perform audits to identify and address risks, preventing duplicate discounts and diversions.
  • Engage in continual review and refinement of 340B Program policies, offering strategic contributions for enhancement.
  • Create and implement quality assurance training programs tailored for team roles, assigning staff to 340B University OnDemand as needed.
  • Proactively educate staff on inventory management, 340B procedures, and serve involvement in all program audits.
  • Conduct monthly audits at contract pharmacies and self-audits of 340B operations to ensure rigorous compliance.
  • Monitor state Medicaid claims and filter non-eligible transactions using data management tools, ensuring no duplicate discounts occur.
  • Evaluate patient eligibility in mixed-use settings, ensuring all facilities adhere to 340B regulations.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to enhance program compliance and efficiency.
  • Provide insightful data reports to meet organizational needs, maintaining records for audit readiness.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring cost-efficient control while maintaining product availability.
  • Adhere to legal requirements of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act in all purchasing and distribution activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certificate and registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
  • Must be able to pass a math test pertinent to retail pharmacy activities.
  • Must maintain BLS/CPR certification.
  • Must keep all required certifications current and in good standing.
