You will be instrumental in overcoming financial and social barriers, ensuring every patient receives seamless access to the healthcare they deserve. Your role is a cornerstone of our commitment to improving health outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for every individual in our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process all diagnostic, specialty, and miscellaneous referral requests from clinical staff with precision.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of necessary authorizations for patient appointments, ensuring expedited access to care.
  • Assist patients in navigating and overcoming financial and social hurdles to access needed healthcare services.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, fostering efficient communication for patient follow-ups.

Your Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months related training and experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of healthcare experience, or three years in customer service, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in medical assistance, referral coordination, insurance verification, or medical prior authorization preferred.
