Lead Eligibility Specialist Bilingual - Montrose (Job Overview)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Meticulously review procedures and guidelines to determine patient eligibility for third-party reimbursement.
  • Process data for new patient admissions into the CPCDMS system and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Coordinate and set initial service appointments to ensure swift access to care post-eligibility determination.
  • Ensure accurate coding for insurance billing to support smooth financial operations and compliance.
  • Handle inquiries from prospective applicants and patients with empathetic and informative communication.
  • Participate in safety education and annual education initiatives to stay abreast of community healthcare practices.
  • Serve as the first-line contact in the manager's absence, managing clinic schedules and providing report assistance.
  • Conduct site visits to support departmental functions and foster a collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, ensuring foundational readiness for the role.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in medical billing, crucial for managing intricate billing processes.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively serve our diverse community.
  • Experience with ICD-A or CPT codes preferred, enhancing your ability to manage comprehensive coding requirements.
