Front Office Clerk - A Transformative Role in Community Health

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with courtesy and professionalism, setting a positive tone for their visit.
  • Efficiently manage incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Provide accurate information regarding services, resources, and policies to the patients.
  • Coordinate patient intake and registration, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area to enhance the patient experience.
  • Be a proactive team player supporting the seamless operation of clinic duties and services.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school graduate or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Exhibit a pleasant demeanor and professional communication skills at all times.
  • Capability to multitask efficiently in a swift-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, with experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Prior experience within a healthcare setting is required.
