Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient counseling to support safe and effective medication use.
  • Perform detailed drug utilization reviews to avert potential drug-drug and drug-disease interactions.
  • Identify and address duplicative therapies, enhancing treatment protocols.
  • Improve medication adherence across diverse patient ages and needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university of pharmacy.
  • Certification in immunization delivery.
  • Valid pharmacist intern license from the Board of Pharmacy of the State of Texas.
  • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate.
