Your role goes beyond routine tasks as you partner closely with our healthcare providers during exams and minor procedures, ensuring that every encounter is a step towards comprehensive healthcare for our community. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient interviews to gather critical medical information and accurately measure vital signs, height, and weight for medical records.
  • Expertly collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring they are logged and ready for testing.
  • Work alongside physicians during patient examinations and treatments, adeptly handling instruments and materials, and confidently performing tasks such as giving injections and removing sutures.
  • Develop and maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms, creating a welcoming space for patient examinations.
  • Maintain sterilization of instruments and responsible disposal of contaminated supplies, adhering to safety standards.
  • Engage in meaningful phone consultations with clients, providing clarity on test results and addressing health concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a drive for continuous learning and growth opportunities.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant, or possession of a Medical Assistant certificate is necessary, showcasing your commitment to healthcare excellence.
  • Basic Life Support certification, demonstrating your preparedness for all aspects of patient care.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, amplifying our mission to serve a diverse community effectively.
