About the Position

The Accountant I will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial data and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare assigned recurring and non-recurring journal entries for month-end close.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Participate in the accurate and timely closing of the general ledger monthly.
  • Assist with external audit and prepare schedules and reports as requested.
  • Provide reconciliation, research, analysis and ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Perform daily cash management duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to insure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
  • Promote effective working relations and works effectively as part of a team to facilitate the department’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • One (1) year of accounting experience is preferred.
