About the Position

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Legacy Community Health administers care to adult women under the supervision of our physicians. In this role, you will be interacting with patients to accurately assess patient's health status, ranging from focused to comprehensive, depending on the setting of the visit, such as emergency, structured screening, or scheduled visit. You will need a thorough knowledge of obstetrics and gynecology, including pregnancy, childbirth, and diseases related to the reproductive system, as you work to diagnose illness, prescribe medication, and perform regular check-ups.

Requirements

  • Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license from the Texas Board of Nursing
  • 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking), preferred
