Positioned in the heart of our Montrose Clinic (1415 California St, Houston, TX 77006) and Stafford Fountains Clinic (12540 Sugardale Dr, Stafford, TX 77477), this role is pivotal in shaping the future of healthcare delivery, ensuring our practices thrive and continue to make a positive impact on the community.

As a strategic visionary, you will spearhead operational initiatives alongside our Sr. Director Operations and the Vice President of Operations. Your role is not only about overseeing the operational heartbeat but also about empowering practice managers through insightful guidance and collaborative support, ultimately driving successful site-specific action plans and budgets. Your boots-on-the-ground approach will be instrumental in nurturing the practices' success, cultivating a thriving and sustainable healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations and service delivery across all practice sites within assigned regions.
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes for managers and coordinators within clinics.
  • Provide robust supervisory support, establish accountabilities, offer performance feedback, and conduct annual evaluations for managerial roles.
  • Advise on disciplinary matters and work with HR on necessary actions, ensuring a productive workplace environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers to enhance practice success and development.
  • Develop and review operational and financial performance, formulating strategic Site-Specific Action Plans in collaboration with leadership teams.
  • Coordinate revenue cycle initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation across practices.
  • Regularly review point-of-service collections and accounts receivable to optimize fiscal health.
  • Manage the development and adherence to annual budgets, holding operations managers accountable for financial and performance objectives.
  • Maintain consistent communication with senior leadership to address operational challenges and align on performance targets.
  • Partner with marketing teams to devise regional strategies and leverage practice liaisons to ensure success.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical revenue cycle policies, safeguarding financial and operational integrity.
  • Analyze technical, financial, and legal documents, and adeptly respond to inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Engage in other duties as assigned, contributing to the dynamic landscape of healthcare operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recent leadership experience in managing clinic practice operations.
  • Master's degree, MHA, MBA, or equivalent is preferred, showcasing advanced strategic acumen.
