About the Position

The Coordinator – Clinical Operations is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and registering patients for primarily, but not limited to: clinic appointments, diagnostic testing/labs, and specialty services throughout the Legacy Community Health system. The employee will use independent judgment to adjust schedules and accommodate special requests from internal and external customers, while providing complete coordination prior to the appointment. This position can support the clinic as needed, and is able to complete all areas of the front desk.

Since then, the agency has expanded to >50 clinics in Houston, one in Baytown, 3 in Beaumont, and one in Deer Park with extensive services that include: Adult primary care, HIV/AIDS care, pediatrics, OB/GYN and maternity, dental, vision and behavioral health. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required, some college preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting. Bachelor’s degree may substitute years of experience.
  • Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant
