The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Legacy Community Health administers care to elderly patients under the supervision of our physicians. In this role, you will be interacting with patients to accurately assess patient's health status, ranging from focused to comprehensive, depending on the setting of the visit, such as emergency, structured screening, or scheduled visit. You will need a thorough knowledge of adult medicine, including chronic conditions and common acute illnesses that may affect the patient's well-being, as you work to diagnose illness, prescribe medication, and perform regular check-ups.

Since then, the agency has expanded to 10 clinics in Houston, one in Baytown, two in Beaumont, and one in Deer Park with extensive services that include: Adult primary care, HIV/AIDS care, pediatrics, OB/GYN and maternity, dental, vision and behavioral health.
