Legacy Community Health is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pediatrics to join our School-Based team
About the Position
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Legacy Community Health administers care to children within our School-Based program clinic setting. In this role, you will be interacting frequently with family members and caregivers in order to accurately assess and treat the patient. You will perform routine pediatric care and physical examinations, including medical procedures and drug treatment according to procedures, policy, and protocol, so you will need thorough knowledge of well-child care and common acute illnesses and chronic conditions among pediatric patients. Strong observation skills are vital as pediatric patients are not always able to effectively communicate their needs.

Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license from the Texas Board of Nursing
- 2 - 5 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
- School-based clinic experience, preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking), preferred
