About the Position

The Licensed Psychologist at Legacy Community Health completes psychological evaluations and testing for children and adults. This is accomplished by working alongside a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychotherapists, social workers, and case managers to provide evidence-based therapy services and psychological assessments to a diverse patient population. As part of that team, the Psychologist will assess the client's needs, abilities, and behaviors in order to develop an effective treatment plan for the patients. Part of the treatment plan, and your responsibility as the Psychologist, may be to provide therapy, such as Behavioral Therapy, CBT, and Group Therapy, as well as other treatments related to mental health diagnoses.

Requirements

  • Ph.D or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
  • Current Texas license in Psychology
  • 5 years of healthcare experience
  • 2 years of testing experience
  • Bilingual or Spanish-speaking, preferred
