Legacy Community Health is looking for an experienced Physician specializing in Pediatrics to serve as Medical Director at one of our clinics

About the Position

The Site Medical Director will join a team working at a large FQHQ in a medically underserved community in order to support and manage the administration of clinical practice for providers across all primary care service lines at your assigned site. You will need to be a board-certified physician in order to define, promote, and review quality practices, especially for the Pediatrics department, at your assigned facility. You will also work closely with operational and nursing leadership at your site. You will be responsible for educating clinical site physicians on the expectations, standards, protocols, and procedures for the Pediatrics practice. The Site Medical Director also serves as the community representative on behalf of Legacy to recruit providers, perform outreach, and increase patient traffic.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited medical school as MD or DO
  • Board-Certified in Pediatrics
  • Current Texas licensure
  • 3 years of clinical practice, post-residency
  • Leadership / management experience
