Legacy Community Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Obstetrics to join our Southwest Clinic or Bissonnet Clinic

About the Position

The OB RN at Legacy Community Health provides care to expecting mothers to ensure the mother and baby are healthy. This involves giving physical exams to pregnant women by checking their vitals, performing ultrasounds, and checking for any potential problems. The Obstetrics Registered Nurse also assists with patient education by teaching mothers how to care for themselves and their babies on matters such as birth control, breastfeeding, and more. Once a woman enters labor, the OB RN will work alongside the physician to assist with delivery and then provide post-delivery care to the mother and baby.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Texas or compact state
  • Current BLS certification
  • 1 year of RN experience
  • 2 - 3 years of OB experience
  • Spanish speaking, preferred
