About Legacy Community Health

Our Story

Legacy Community Health began as a small community clinic in 1981, founded by a group of healthcare professionals who recognized the need for accessible healthcare services in underserved areas of Houston. Over four decades we have grown to become one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Texas.

Today, Legacy serves more than 170,000 patients annually at over 50 clinic locations across the Greater Houston area, providing comprehensive medical, dental, vision, behavioral health, and pharmacy services — regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
