Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls with warmth and route them to the appropriate staff.
  • Perform client intake and notify appropriate team members of client arrival, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Accurately enter patient information into databases to maintain reliable records.
  • Assist the volunteer coordinator with volunteer management, fostering a sense of community.
  • Follow appointment scheduling and cash handling procedures with precision.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for the clinic, ensuring readiness for each day.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly clinic lobby, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Process lab results as assigned, contributing to patient care.
  • Participate in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance service quality.
  • Promote effective working relationships and teamwork, supporting each other's efforts.
  • Attend required safety training programs and maintain equipment safety to ensure a secure environment.
  • Report safety concerns promptly and follow exposure control plans to protect everyone.
  • Attend annual education programs to stay updated and informed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to the needs of the clinic.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle many calls or patients at once.
  • Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
  • Computer literacy and experience with multi-line phones or switchboards.
  • Basic math, alphabetical or numerical filing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and decision-making responsibilities.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
